I think the devil truly has a vendetta (he knows no better)
against young people
Young people taking a stand and choosing Christ.
He doesn’t want to see us rise
But rather prefers to witness a slow, excruciating demise
But these are lies
Look into my eyes
Eyes
Keep them above
Focus on me love
Don’t you know you can and will never be
Forgotten
I begot you
I know you
I adore you
Even when you’re rife with sin, disappointment and shame
I will still call your name
I will still call you home
You are mine
The devil fears a revolution
He fears us clearing the pollution
He fears us gaining discipline
And choosing God’s medicine
Over his sedatives
The word of God is powerful
A sharp edged sword
Releases peace and so much more
I refuse to be moored
By the devil’s schemes against me
My generation will not weep
My generation will seek to be freed
By the only one who can achieve
This near impossible feat
Say his name
JESUS.
