Let's Write

Inside Out

So I’m a sucker for Disney/Pixar productions but I would’ve never thought I’d see the day where I’d leave the cinema deep in thought concerning what many might view to be a kids movie.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, I strongly recommend it as I feel it is such an intelligent idea capturing the complexity of the human mind. After watching it I was left with 2 main interpretations of it all:

1. Cherish those around you. This could be your family, friends but I never realised how important it is to avoid the thought that  ‘I came to this world alone, I leave alone.’ Although that is extremely true to a certain extent, I don’t think it necessarily means that we should remain as islands. I personally adore my family and see it as a blessing that I have them in my life. I’m absolutely sure my ‘Family Island’ is the most vital within my mind- not even the headquarters can rival it. (You’d only get this if you watch the film.)

2. Acknowledge the sadness in your life cause it’s not always necessarily a bad thing. Once you acknowledge it, you take a step closer to healing and feeling better and making more fulfilling and happier memories.

So, ‘Inside Out’ made me think. Thank you to the creatives involved in this movie. I aspire to do the same through various mediums within my generation too.

Peace & Love,

My thoughts are best expressed by writing.
So that's what I do - I write.

It's how I make sense of it all.
My prayer is that someone somewhere is blessed or is able to relate to what I write.

"Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them..." ~ Romans 12:6
